Brain&Mind Quarterly #2

On July 1, Brain&Mind brought its community together for the 2nd edition of Brain&Mind Quarterly, our quarterly meeting dedicated to scientific and technological advances and exchanges with the #BrainMakers ecosystem.

On the agenda for this edition

Presentation of the first startups of the “Early-Stage” program :

• Apertum Neuroscience® : transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to improve the effectiveness of low-dose medications.
• Clarity : neuromodulation at 40 Hz to complement treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's.
• A.F. GENESIS : an innovative device for accessing brain pain circuits.
• Kwit : a mobile application that has become a medical device, to support smoking cessation.
• Lutece Dynamics : cellular imaging technologies to explore the subcellular dynamics of organelles.
• Oria Bioscience : microfluidics and electrophysiology for research on neurodegenerative diseases.

Launch of two calls for strategic projects, nearly €2 million in prize money: Applications open from 8 July.

• “Open science” proteomic platform
• Structuring a national clinical network

These calls are aimed at structure the ecosystem Brain&Mind and to offer human, strategic and financial support to innovative projects.

A moment of exchange and networking

As always, the Quarterly sets aside time for discussion without slides or pitches, but with curiosity and a desire to shake things up. Clinicians, entrepreneurs, researchers and industrialists met around a convivial cocktail, promoting exchanges and the creation of relationships.
